Does Your Mother Know? Bournemouth - Bar Interior Photography
Commission to photograph the interior for DMYK’s new bar in Bournemouth. Leap frog yourself without the queues to the club with a half-price wrist band from the bar, not forgetting pre-club drinkies of course!
I Love ❤️❤️❤️ photographing bars - has to be a favourite of mine. Its the bright lights and creative, shiny interiors that appeals to me, DMYK bar did not disappoint.
DMYK is Bournemouth’s award winning inclusive nightclub, featuring live DJs, drag queens, and guest PAs. Since under new management DYMK opened a new sister bar along the road from the infamous club, where you can enjoy pre-clubbing drinks just a minutes walk away from the club and get half price wristbands for speedy Q jump into the club.
Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum, New Forest, Hampshire
What a visual feast! Photography of interiors and quirky details at the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum, situated in the heart of the New Forest.
Situated in the heart of the New Forest, the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum is home to around 500 rare and exotic motorcycles from all over the world. Sammy Miller MBE is a 11 times British Trials Motorcycle Champion and winner of over 1400 competition events across various disciplines. Throughout his career spanning 8 decades, Sammy still managed to find the time to restore rare and interesting motorcycles, which he kept as a private collection until 1980 when he opened his collection to the public… the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum was born!
I was asked to photograph by the museum’s creative agency Juice, they needed imagery for a new website and marketing materials to promote the business. The brief was to not only showcase each individual area of the museum, but to also creatively capture details and illustrate the ‘quirkiness’ of its interior and pieces. It has to be said the museum was a visual feast, memorabilia at every turn, I almost didn’t know where to start!
Hotel Photography - Spotlight on Rushton Hall Hotel & Spa, Rushton Northamptonshire
It has to be said I love photographing hotels, and Rushton Hall has been one of my favourite places to photograph, not only because of its architectural grandeur, but because its truly an experience from the moment you arrive.
It has to be said I love photographing hotels, and Rushton Hall has been one of my favourite places to photograph, not only because of its architectural grandeur, but because its truly an experience from the moment you arrive.
Rushton Hall is one of the finest hotels in the Midlands. A magnificent Grade I Listed Country House hotel in Kettering. With original features from its build in the fifteenth century including stunning architecture, magnificent decor and roaring log fires.
I have worked with Rushton Hall for many years photographing its stunning architecture, interiors, food and lifestyle for their social media, website and general marketing material. I think the collection below speaks volumes, and what a pleasure its been to shoot this amazing place!
Dayfold Print, Abstract Series - Commercial Photography
After being commissioned to photograph Dayfold Print’s sample room a year or so ago, they asked me to return and photograph a series of abstract images to be enlarged and displayed in their expanded premises.
After being commissioned to photograph Dayfold Print’s sample room a year or so ago, they asked me to return and photograph a series of abstract images to be enlarged and displayed in their expanded premises. The images will also be used in some printed marketing material too, I will look forward to seeing the results! The idea was to capture a collection of images that would inspire and look at print from a very different angle; whether its parts of machinery, ink or a bi-product of the printing and production process. Either way the macro lens doesn’t come out of the bag often and what great fun!

New Milton Town Council are going through a re-development and modernisation phase with one of the main focus’ on launching a new website called ‘Discover New Milton’. Visitors can search for amenities, find out about events and generally more info about the Council. Over a two year period I was commissioned to have free license to photograph the town and surrounding areas, including the beautiful Milford-on-sea. Highlights of the commission being the cherry-picker I was harnessed to for the aerial shots and capturing the fun and skills of the youngsters at the skate park. Below is a small selection of the images taken in that time.
